Jonathan Freeman, the actor who voiced Jafar in both Aladdin and The Return of Jafar, has appeared in three of Disney’s Broadway shows. In Mary Poppins as Admiral Boom and the Bank Chairman (Replacement), in The Little Mermaid as Grimsby (Original Broadway Cast), and in Beauty and the Beast as Cogsworth (Replacement). He also reprised his role as Jafar in Disney’s stage adaptation of Aladdin, which debuted at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre in July of 2011.
